Summary
Tommy had been doing fine on his own. Sure he was hiding from the foster system, but he only had to worry about that if he got caught. After sprouting a pair of wings at age sixteen, Tommy picked up a hobby of following one villain around the city; The Angel of Death one of the leaders of the Syndicate. Even though he hides his wings in public, his new instincts are working overtime and have imprinted on the Villain and now Tommy couldn't stand not being near the Villain. Now he just has to stalk the villain without being killed by said Villain. What could go wrong?!
Meanwhile Philza and his sons are trying to fight against the government, but start noticing a kid following them. They don't know what to think of him. Wilbur and Technoblade think he might be a hero in training. Phil however, is more than content enough to have the kid following them around. Now he just has to not give in to the instinct to take the kid. He's into anarchy, not traumatizing kids.
(I posted this story up before but found elements in it that I wasn't happy with, so I took it down and re-wrote certain parts.)

Summary
Tommy had never wanted to run more.
He had also never been able to run less.
He had no idea why Siren had such a big grudge against him. It probably had something to do with the fact that Dream kept sending him to fight Siren specifically. Fighting the syndicate was dangerous in general, with Sirens mind control, Blood gods fear manipulation and blood lust, and The Angel of Deaths ability to suck your own soul out of your body, but Siren was the worst. Tommy hated fighting Siren, hated the way his mind control power felt, and dream knew it. It was only fair though, if he didn’t want to fight Siren, he should have done better in training and gotten up right at 4 when Dream demanded. All to make him better, right?
Or: All Tommy knows is life with the heroes, fighting crime from a young age under the teaching of Dream. One day, Siren, a deadly villain, finds out how young he is and decides he wants a new brother.

Tommy helps them out, of course. But this sets into motion a chain of events he could never have imagined – and leads to a gift he had never dared to put on his list.
