It’s soft. Not casual, not careful — just honest.
Osamu huffs out a laugh that’s more breath than humor, like the weight of the question sinks into his chest before he can stop it. It’s the sound of someone who’s been trying not to want something for a long, long time, but who has been defeated anyway.
He doesn’t answer right away. Just stares out into the dark alley, jaw clenched like he’s chewing on glass.
Finally, when Osamu speaks, his voice is rough with resignation.
“Yeah.” He doesn’t look at Suna when he answers. “Yeah, Rin. I would.” A beat. “And I think that’s exactly our problem.”

"What test?" Meian asked curiously, watching his teammates with amusement. Hinata's gaze flashed briefly from the display up to Meian, his expression becoming even more mischievous.

Atsumu paused briefly as he fixed his waistband and turned slowly to the trio by now. He watched his teammates with wide, intrigued eyes, flickering with curiosity in such an intensity that it was almost frightening.

“Atsumu,” Sakusa utters, causing his gaze to snap up.
His pupils are so blown out that Atsumu can't see where they blend with his black iris. His look seems just as frustrated as Atsumu has felt all these last fucking days. The furrow between his brows reveals that he wants Atsumu at least as much and yet he’s still hesitant.
Atsumu frowns and inhales sharply.
“Ya really do want me,” he says. “And ya hate it.”
He changes the angle of his knife, so it’s against Sakusa’s neck. He doesn’t look nearly as alarmed by the cold metal pressed against his skin as Atsumu might expect. Not nearly as alarmed as when Atsumu brings his mouth to Kiyoomi’s.

“For fuck’s sake… not you, Miya! There’s–” Sakusa Kiyoomi, yeah correct, the Sakusa Kiyoomi stood in Atsumu's doorway with a heaving chest, clawing at the door frame and catching his breath. He looked panicked and stressed and oh my fucking God Sakusa Kiyoomi is actually talking to me?! "There's a cockroach in my room!"
... Or the story in which Sakusa Kiyoomi had a cockroach phobia, Miya Atsumu became the knight in shining armor, and they somehow ended up kissing (and doing more).

Atsumu paused for a moment and Sakusa hitched a breath. His cheeks turned a deep red, which fortunately couldn't be seen under the mask. Atsumu continued talking.
"{I don't know Omi-kun, looks like ya wanna find out, huh?}"
The dark-haired man released a small breathless smile, which sent chills down Atsumu's spine as he felt Kiyoomi's hot breath on his cheeks. Sakusa leaned in a bit more and whispered in his raspy, deep, seductive voice.
"{Miya.}"
Atsumu shivered just from how assertively Sakusa uttered his name. He knew exactly what he was doing. Atsumu could tease him as much as he wanted, but against Sakusa Kiyoomi he would lose every time, over and over again.
"{Do you really think you have the slightest chance of handling me?}"

Summary
For the past five years, Satoru and Suguru have only met each other for rebounds on a handful of occasions. They haven't seen each other in over a year and barely exchanged a word. Satoru suspects that Suguru might have finally moved on from their messy relationship and found someone new.
On a snowy winter night, Satoru makes a colossal mistake, and the only one he trusts enough to tell and ask for help is Suguru Geto.
“Are you alright?” Suguru asks when Satoru keeps just clinging to him, not even trying to take off his shoes and follow him all the way into the apartment.
Satoru shakes his head almost imperceptibly over his shivering.
“Are you hurt?” is his next question, and his worry has increased tenfold between those two questions. The older man nods once. It’s a short, jerky movement, stiff and unnatural, first up, then down. “Do I need to take you to the hospital?” He shakes his head and buries his face in the crook of Suguru’s neck. He doesn’t want Suguru to see him like this, but he can’t bring himself to let go of him and be alone with this, either.
