Summary
The burial mounds was a living entity, thank you very much , having developed a consciousness from the centuries of souls, spirits and resentful energy seeped within it's boundaries.
Thus when confronted with this childe, who helped bring clarity to the collective thought process of the mounds so may seasons ago, bring more living people into its boundaries; it did the only thing it could- make sure that the childe and all its people were welcome.
