Summary
“Come on,” Neil coaxed, bouncing on his heels. “No one’s watching.”
“You’re watching.”
“I’m not a ‘one’. I’m a Neil.”
──────────────────
Todd’s never danced before—not really—but Neil’s grinning at him like it’s the most natural thing in the world, like their tiny dorm room could be a ballroom if they wanted it to be. There’s a scratchy jazz record spinning on Neil’s old player, the lights are low, and the world outside might as well not exist.Neil offers his hand. Todd takes it.

Summary
“I keep thinking about my father.”
Neil finally admits, still not meeting Todd’s gaze.
Todd doesn’t respond immediately, he merely moves a little closer, offering silent comfort.
He leans against the tired boy’s desk, his face apprehensive.
Todd’s eyes trace Neil’s jaw—it’s clenched, his lips are pressed tight, and his brows tense.
His hand twitches, hesitantly, it hovers around Neil’s shoulder.
Finally, he lets it rest there—firm, unmoving.Neil’s eyes meet Todd’s in response, and he offers a tender smile that reaches his eyes—even though his jaw remains tight with worry.
“You’re allowed to want things.” Todd finishes, his grip tightening ever so slightly.

Summary
That night he had not slept.
He had lain in his cot instead, eyes fixed on the ceiling and gaze too distant to notice how moonlight had slowly trailed her fingers on the walls, how light had shifted from silver to grey to pale gold. Dawn had come and found Mike restless on top of his still-made bed, middle and index finger pressed against his lips – a whole night spent reliving and sifting through the same memories and yet it still felt unreal, too dreamlike to have been true.
When dawn had come to caress Mike’s cheek, rosy-fingered and warm, she had found resolution in his heart and a foolish, foolish plan firmly rooted in his mind.
or; how Mike came to be cursed - among many, many other things.

Summary
Except he wasn’t truly alone in the garden.
Will tore his eyes from the paper and looked over at the frog: it had not moved an inch, all the while Will had filled the page and got lost in his thoughts, found his way out and got lost anew.
The frog blinked slowly at him. Will lowered his sketchbook. It was definitely staring.
or; Mike gets cursed a little too often.

Summary
Chris nodded, still not looking up. “Yeah. Me and her are going out tomorrow, the movies. But there’s… uh, a problem.” Gordie looked at him expectantly. “I don’t know how to kiss,” Chris said meekly, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "And I know you’ve had your first one- Julia Carlton and all, so I was wondering if you could… Give me tips.”
“Like, describe how to… kiss someone?” Gordie breathed, heart beating out of his chest.
“Yeah.”
“You can’t…” The blush creeping up Gordie’s cheeks was miserable. “I can’t explain it. I’d have to show you if you wanted practice or whatever.” He didn’t mean it as an offer, but Chris took it as one.
“Can you show me?”
Gordie’s head shot up, eyes widening. His chest was burning. Yeah, he wanted to kiss Chris. He wanted to kiss Chris a whole lot. He knew that much, but he wasn’t a queer. And he didn’t want Chris to think that either. “Like, kiss you?”
“How else would you show me?” Chris shrugged.
