Summary

Summary
All because they were so alike. They were a perfect match in battles, came at each other with equal force, though lately Shadow fought more ferociously for no particular reason, balancing each other and if they were to work together, they would probably be unstoppable. Shadow was too much like Sonic, but worse. And it bugged Sonic relentlessly.
Maybe he was narcissistic after all.

Summary
Sure life as king in Camelot DID sound like a pretty sick gig, it wasn’t his speed. Instead Sonic simply left in the middle of the night after making sure things could run without him, assuming that he would never return. Not knowing that a knight that had his heart strung along would have help from his Fae son to follow his king, even if that means leaving his own world behind.
OR: Lancelot is full of so much yearning he uproots his whole life to woo Sonic without thinking twice about the morals of the situation. Cue the rivalry that comes when two ebony hedgehogs vie for Sonic’s affections, only to eventually accept that he cares for both of them.
