The boy completely froze when he saw Shuichi. “Uh…” He looked around like Shuichi was the weird one in this situation? This was his bedroom!
“Is that my math book?” Shuichi asked, now looking incredibly confused, gesturing to the book in the boy's other hand. There was an extremely long pause, and for a moment, Shuichi thought he might not say anything at all.
“No…?” He finally spoke up, looking at the book for a second, and then back up at Shuichi. Shuichi stared at the boy, trying to grasp the situation properly.
“It has my name on it.” That made the boy once again look back at the book, reading Shuichi Saihara neatly written in sharpie on the cover.
“Oh, well look at that.” The boy shrugged.
“What exactly are you doing?” Shuichi looked at the large bag that the boy was holding.
“Great question!” The boy chirped, tossing the book into the bag. “I’m…Uh…”
