Summary
`The Vessel` is an Important figure in the village
he afterall is the future ruler of Carcosa,Picked by hand,
nurtured with kindness,
and taught with courage by the elders of the town.He is everything you expected a perfect vessel to be.
Compared to `the Knight` by his side,
Derek is nothing like the norm
he is as skilled as a thief,
smart as a scholar,
and curious like a newborn child.A clear disappointment.
//or a Universe where instead of Abel being the Vessel and Ianus by his side it's Avery and Derek.

Summary
A curse. That is what this is.
Infinite knowledge in the hands of a mere human, forced upon him by an unrelenting God.
A God that has fallen to Its knees by that human, and imprisoned in his decaying mind.
Now, there is only two things left to do:
Say goodbye.
And end this suffering.

Summary
We all know the story. Derek died to save humanity, and in the process destroyed Hastur. Avery was left heartbroken.
But.... what if it didn’t end there? After all, Hastur was never the only god.
He was one of many gods who found humans insignificant. That is, until a human killed one of their own and could handle true knowledge. They always need a person to take a god’s position when they die.
A person who was smart.
A person who could crack codes and solve puzzles that would take the average person days.
A person like Derek.OR
Derek gets reincarnated in the world of the Cthulhu Gods.

Summary
Derek has lived with the King in Yellow inside him for years, learning to endure the possessions and the terrifying knowledge that comes with them. Avery has learned to endure them too—staying beside him through every episode, even when he’s terrified that one day Derek won’t come back.
After another long night of possession, the two finally confront the things they’ve both been keeping buried. As Avery cares for Derek and gives him a chance to rest, Derek is forced to admit the truth he’s spent years avoiding: beneath all the fear, guilt, and weight he carries, he doesn’t want to bear it alone.
Sometimes, surviving isn’t about being strong enough to carry the burden.
Sometimes, it’s about finally letting someone help you carry it.
