    Spy hates his coworkers. And yet, he enjoys talking to them.

    He listens to Heavy's monologues because he feels pity for the man, being forced to speak in a language he's barely fluent in all the time.
    He entertains Medic's butchering of his own native tongue because it's like a game they play. A game between two coworkers that are not friends.
    He lets Engineer help him with speaking Mexican Spanish because people would think he's a Spaniard otherwise. Spanish isn't either of their first languages, Spy could have gone to anyone for help, it's just that this mission is with Engie and it's easier and it's not a friendship thing.
    And he helps Sniper (with whom he has a professional sexual relationship) with translating idiotic books he found because... Well. Spy's still looking for an excuse for that one.
