Ivo wasn’t sure what he expected the weapon to be, but definitively not this. Conflicted, he let the silence hang in the air, before swallowing nervously. With some remaining hesitation, he spoke up.
“G.U.N kidnapped you. I came to your rescue,” he lied, voice shaky, praying to Chaos he won’t be caught. Something screamed at him that having the smaller mobian on his side would be for the best.
“G.U.N?” the hedgehog questioned, before his eyes brightened with realization. “Are we back on Mobius?”

“I know you can do it!” Sonic cheers Tails on as he lands on Knuckles’ hand once more, and in a second he is shooting through the sky like a comet.
”Keep your eyes on them, Knuckles, and if anything happens, promise me-“
”I’ll protect the fox, don’t you worry, hedgehog.”He grins to Sonic, but is replied with timid nod and a sad smile, a combination that raises the alarm bells in his head.Sonic’s eyes are locked in a spot in the space,Knuckles’ curious about it too yet he can’t shake his worry for Sonic quick enough to look.
“Sonic? What’s the matter?”
”I’m sorry, Knuckles.”
”For what-“ Before he can get an answer though, Sonic pushes him from the cannon right into the vast space.

”But we can steer it away from Earth!”

Summary
Sonic is the lead singer of the Sunset Squad, a band formed by him and his two adoptive brothers, Tails and Knuckles. Childhood trauma holds him in a vice, however; stealing his voice from the public and keeping him trapped in an endless mental loop of trying and failing to take the next step.
Amy Rose has been fighting to becoming a full-time soloist— just as she has dreamed of since she was a child. Stuck at an extended block of no progress— and trying to ignore her own loneliness and frustration— she's led to take a step towards a promising opportunity, only to find herself in a chance encounter that leaves her stunned.
A chance encounter leads to an unlikely but much-needed friendship, which slowly transforms into something a little bit more.
