Summary
The one miracle to come out of all this was Benoit Blanc. Jud had assumed the detective would solve this case and move onto the next one, vanish out of Jud’s life with the same abruptness as his arrival. And he did disappear, often and swiftly, with few niceties or goodbyes.
But then a few days later he’d suddenly reappear: be it at hearings where Jud would have otherwise had to battle the tedium of bureaucracy alone, or online, posting statements to cushion some particularly devastating blows against Jud in the media, Benoit Blanc kept cropping up when he was needed the most.

Canon is one thing that sort of nudges at your urges and makes you think hmm there could be something there. Fics like this are what seal the deal and push a ship from vague curiosity and casual appreciation of a dynamic into terminal levels of brainrot territory.

Summary
One of the main characters - the only surviving witness to a murder - has just woken from a coma. Not only is she entirely cognizant, but the first thing that the subtitles say she asks for is a lawyer.
“What are you fucking giggling about?”
The other person that’s been paying attention is Flambae. He’s right next to Robert on the couch, his arm slung over the top behind his head. One foot is propped up on the other knee, also pointing towards Robert, which has him caged in the corner by the arm rest. It’s probably some fucked-up power move. Robert has been ignoring it just to spite him.
“It’s just not how comas work,” Robert shrugs.
“Right, and you know because you’re a fucking doctor,” Flambae quips back.
“I know because I was in one, asshole.”

During a quiet night in, Robert realizes that his coma and injuries aren't common knowledge among Z-Team.
Most of them take the information in stride with jokes aplenty.
Flambae does not.

"Oh," Izuna said -- delicately, while studiously reading his folder, "I'm afraid we need someone with a ... strong personality for Naohime."
"Why's that?" Hashirama replied, just as painfully polite.
The daimyo's mediator kept watching them and scratching little pointy words in his notebook.
"Because if your man doesn't prove that he's dangerous and has the personality to use it on her if she pushes him, it's going to turn abusive," Madara drawled.
Hashirama stared at him for a blank second. The daimyo's envoy stopped writing; even his stone-faced Aburame bodyguard arched her eyebrows over her darkened spectacles.
Tobirama stretched out across the table without another word to take back one of the folders Izuna had spread around him.

The daimyo is over the whole Uchiha/Senju war. They're going to become one people if they know what's good for them.
Madara hates it enough without having to marry a woman too.

Extremely well written, in character, horrible evil premise but absolutely beautiful delightful hopeful potential that those who deserve it will get what is coming in the near future, and coupled with excellent porn?? And exploration of grey asexuality? This story means so much to me and I really really love it. Recommended for sure.

Summary
Every myth contains a grain of truth. Every legend begins with a story. Every fantastical tale is real in some fashion.
Civilians have always claimed that Ninja are inhuman. (The civilian rumours are not wrong.) The Ninja have always dismissed the accusations. (They should not have.)
Just because Ninja a mostly human now does not mean that is the way it has always been...
... Or that it will remain that way.
Those that fall can also rise. Madara takes the first step. Tobirama follows. Together they make it the rest of the way. (They pave the way for others to follow.)

Summary
Senju Tobirama allows little Uchiha Kagami to “capture” him solely to taunt Uchiha Izuna with the knowledge that a literal child succeeded in an endeavor he never managed. Only, it seems the red silk rope that radiates Uchiha Madara’s chakra has cultural significance to the Uchiha of which Tobirama is unaware.
