Summary
Neither of them know a whit about this 'living happily ever after' thing--but they'll be damned if they let anyone know that. Still, they're trying their best--despite some distracting questions: Who is sending Sophie suspiciously-familiar-sounding love notes? Is her garden becoming carnivorous? Are Michael and Martha too young to be doing that?
And why is it suddenly Lettie's business whether or not Howl and Sophie have, in fact, kissed? -

Samus Aran. One of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy. A fusion of human and Chozo genes to make the perfect killing instrument: the perfect body. And there's only one of her in the universe.
Which is something EM Industries, the civilized world's premier bioengineering company, isn't going to stand for. So they announce an incentive: anyone who can bring them even one of Samus's egg cells will get enough credits to fund a small planet. No questions asked. No matter how far they have to go to get them.
With such a bounty on her...er, head, what's a girl to do?

Summary
Joseph Stern faces a variety of cases in his work as a consulting detective. Everything from investigating a wealthy man's betrothed to hunting down the deed to a strange house on the moors. The fact that these investigations bring him into the orbit of Barclay, a cook at the humble Amnesty Lodge, is a significant benefit of the work.
Duck Newton arrives in England in high demand; he has more money than he thought possible and a potential house in the country. Now if only his matchmaker, the supposedly talented Indrid Cold, could get his fucking act together. Duck will just have to keep a closer eye on him until he does.
It's time for mystery, danger, and romance as Amnesty goes Victorian.

Summary
In 1987, Indrid Cold decides to pick up a quite unusual hitchhiker. Not even he could foresee how much that decision would shape what is happening in Kepler over 30 years later.
A story about love, all the different shapes it takes and all the places it chooses to surprise us in.
[Alright, so that’s not too bad. A bit unconventional, but nothing that he can’t have a conversation about. Stern releases a breath he didn’t know he was holding just a second too soon, and then the scratching sound returns, much louder this time.
He identifies its source easily enough, and then four things happen in rapid succession.
One- Stern pushes against the hidden door and it glides open, revealing a small, clinically empty room ending in two more doors. The kind of doors that he’s seen more than enough of in his 14 years as an agent- panic room doors.]Bookmarked by Photosyntheses
