A gift for Orangetrees, for the 2023 Holiday exchange! I agree that these two deserve all the warm, soft moments and all the holiday joy!

Summary
In 1815, Charles X made an arrangement with some strange cloaked figures to help ensure his monarchy against the new rise of Napoleon. To the sound of bat wings , Paris became the Fifth City of the Neath.
That was fifteen years ago. The City of Lights has had more reason than ever to keep its lamps lit. Charles has been less approachable than ever, and no censorship laws can keep the press from speculating on what's really happening the halls of government. And the Masters are finding out for themselves why Paris is sometimes called The City of Revolutions...

In Consideration of the Two Mômes Prior to Their Displacement by wegointhroughit

Summary
We once happened to chance on overhearing the intimate encounter of two suspicious parties, one of which we have already been familiarized with and who is known by the name of Magnon. She and the secondary party, one Mamselle Miss, had just taken to a new abode on the Rue Clocheperce and were to live dandily raising two boys in a fine home under salary and bill, both the result of the presence of the children. By all accounts of the conversation, the boys appeared to be new to the household, though those who knew la Magnon would vouch that those boys had been under her care long before. The honesty of such accounts should be expected to vary sharply. None the matter, this is what was heard. What was seen remains an embellishment on the part of author.
