The first he finds is Octoarms. The fucker’s quirk stood out boldly, similar to Birdbrain, who’s face had never been an issue to identify. The guy he ignores more than most was recognizable once Katsuki caught sight of his tail- as well as the Invisible chick. But for the most part, he had no idea who anyone was.

He couldn’t call out to Sukuna like he used to. Yuji feared he no longer understood the curse, if he ever truly knew him at all. He’d been too naïve for his own good, but when fear was breaking down the last of his walls, all Yuji could do was shuffle toward the curse, one hand tugging on his clothes, and beg for him to reconsider.
“A-Aniki… Don’t go away.”
As soon as the words slipped out between Yuji’s lips, regret took over at the sight of Sukuna’s face. He honestly didn’t know how the curse would react, expecting to be shoved off again as the more likely outcome than the full-body freeze he was witnessing.
The curse’s eyes widened, bewildered by the form of address Yuji had used. It wasn’t like a Yuji could have used his name, and he was still in Fushiguro’s body, which for better or for worse gave him the stature of a teenager… He’d made Sukuna livid, hadn’t he?
This was how his life was going to end.
❤ Yuji gets attacked while alone and turned into a child. His memories are all intact, but no one else needs to know that. Especially when the first person to find him is the curse who abandoned him once already.

Summary
It happened maybe once a year when the weather changed from winter to spring. Yuuji chalked it up to the changing weather in and of itself because it was simple, the whole thing was weird, and he’d become protective over the years.
The first time Sukuna had gotten sick, Yuuji had discovered it by accident. He hadn’t heard from Sukuna in days, in neither thoughts nor formed mouths, and thus had barged into Sukuna’s domain. What had greeted him was a pissier than normal Sukuna and was absolutely fucking miserable. When Yuuji had announced that Sukuna looked like shit, Sukuna had tried to lob his head off. What had actually happened was Sukuna’s technique going wide and missing Yuuji completely.
The curse was wildly out of sorts. Yuuji could see it and feel it in the cursed energy Sukuna attempted to command.
It took a lot of coaxing. A lot of coaxing, and a binding vow, but eventually Sukuna allowed Yuuji to take care of him. It became their dirty little secret, and in the very rare instances Sukuna would fall ill, he’d call on Yuuji.
“Little monk.”
