“You were always the best one with kids,” Kibum says now, watching Minho carefully bottle-feeding this tiny baby cradled in the crook of one muscular arm, Minho’s face arranged in the stern pout that means concentration “the best from all the members.”
“I know, I know, you don’t have to say it,” Minho chuckles, not quite easily. “It’s because I’m a child myself.”
“No, I just meant…” Kibum stops himself – they can’t slide back into the argument. They can’t slide back into saying things that matter. He turns away, goes to tidy up the bowls and chopsticks from the table. “I just meant I shouldn’t be surprised. It should be obvious that you’re good at this.”
