    Izuku huffed a sigh as he wiped sweat from his brow with a gym towel. Working out was one of the most relaxing parts of his day, or it usually was. Today, he couldn't shake the damn migraine brewing behind his eyes, and every bone in his body was buzzing with OFA.
    The only thing keeping him from being able to truly unwind was the squawking howl of an aggressive blonde shouting at Kirishima about every little thing he did. Did Izuku know that Katsuki was right and Kirishima was relying too heavily on his quirk to avoid gym injuries instead of using proper form? Yes.
    Did that stop him from being fucking annoyed that Katsuki wouldn't shut the hell up?
    No.

    OR: Izuku tries to get Katsuki to shut the hell up, it leaves an impression, and Izuku decides to act on it later, when no one's looking. He just wanted silence, but the sound of Katsuki's screams aren't so bad, after all.

    What if Deku had a quirk that stopped him from dying and Bakugo wasn't captured by the sludge villain the day All Might and Izuku met?

     

    "I'm so fucking sorry," Katsuki's voice was muffled from the wet fabric on Izuku's chest. "Don't you ever do something that fucking stupid again," Katsuki pulled back and looked into Izuku's eyes.

    A swan dive from 5 stories was definitely enough to kill him. He had made sure of it.

    It had killed him, right?

    So why was he alive now?

    "Izuku, I never wanted you to actually fucking kill yourself. I thought you fucking knew that. I knew I should have apologized as soon as I said it, but holy fucking shit Izuku, I didn't think you were actually going to do it." His voice was so quiet. Something so rare for the loud, angry blond sitting in front of Izuku.

    Izuku blinked and rubbed at his own eyes, studying Katsuki. He had never, in his entire life, seen Katsuki so upset. The tears still hadn't stopped, his emotion was so raw and unrestrained. There was snot coming out of his nose, and spit clinging to his lips as he separated them to speak. His bloodshot eyes were met by trembling hands that attempted to wipe away the tears that refused to stop coming.

    Izuku is only five, and hoping that the doctor is wrong. Because if the doctor is wrong, then everything can go back to normal. But, then something awful happens, he's attacked and every mean word people say about him echoes, and the roof edge is right there. In his desperation, his quirk finally activates, bringing him the family he wanted and a quirk to boot. Splinter is just trying to get the turtles to bed after coming home injured from the battle nexus, when something catches his interest, a sort of 'call' and a portal slowly forming under his feet. He only just has enough time to grab his boys before they are dumped into a new world full of new problems.
