Summary
Despite his (admittedly well earned) reputation as a treacherous coward, Starscream had yet to crack. Joors of questioning by had turned out to be fruitless. He never uttered a single word. In fact—Starscream had barely offered either of them more than a second glance. Instead he kept his optics forward, red glow boring into the wall while his audials tuned out the string of words leaving the other mechs’ intakes. Whatever they wanted, they would not be getting—Starscream was sure of that.
With a quiet hiss, the door to the brig slid open. Peds walking across the metal floor echoed through the hall, and emerging from the darkness: Bumblebee. The young bot had a slight limp in his stride, mostly healed but perceptible enough for the seeker. Not to mention the many scuffs, scraped paint, and dents that littered the mech’s body.
Starscream scoffed, rising to his peds and walking closer to the energy field at the front of the cell. “Your prime views me as so utterly helpless and non threatening that he sends his injured scout of all things to guard me?”

Starscream is captured by the Autobots. Bumblebee is asked to guard him. Too bad they find each other hot.

Summary
“I know, I know it’s just—it’s hard to lose someone so close, to lose my mentee, even if it isn’t real. I can’t imagine if you’d actually perished in battle.” Optimus pauses as he feels Bumblebee yank his smaller servo away. Immediately dread washes over him at the realization, words catching in his throat at the way Bee stares up at him with his optics wide.
“You forgot about him?” Bumblebee gasps. He continued to stare at Optimus, watching the prime’s intake move, but he could not hear any sound.
The first thing that presented itself was the awful dread. Next was the memory of holding Rubble’s crumpled and bludgeoned body, the sensation of cold grey metal in Bee’s arms, how it dangled limp and lifeless.— — — — —
The war between Autobots and Decepticons has just ended, and GHOST is newly formed. Bumblebee is presumed dead, and his funeral was today. Optimus is utterly distraught at the idea of losing the one he raised, and opens up about his feelings on this. What he fails to remember, however, is the fact that Bumblebee once lost his mentee. Needless to say, his grievances don’t go over well.

Summary
Starscream did not want to die an insignificant mech. He did not want to die small, unremarkable, and unremembered. No, he was destined for more, he had to be.
“It’s Megatronus!” Someone whispers. Immediately Starscream turned his helm. Sure enough, the prime was standing at an elevated podium, looking through the crowd before him. Were they going to be personally trained by Megatronus Prime himself?
He could hear him speaking, but the words didn’t process. Starscream was preoccupied with other thoughts, with a realization: he had to be the best. He would work until he was falling into pieces if it meant he’d get to be at the top, to be the leader of the high guard, to be Megatronus Prime’s right-hand man.
— — — — —
Takes place before the events of Transformers One. How Starscream came to be the leader of the High Guard, how in becoming that he formed a relationship with Megatronus Prime, and we all know how it ends.

Summary
Before the excitement had had the chance to wear off, Bumblebee enjoyed his newfound freedom. A new sporty alt-mode, next to no responsibilities, and free rein of wherever his tires could take him. One caveat: No communication. As far as the autobots (save Optimus Prime himself) and Decepticons alike were concerned, Bumblebee had died in the final battle.
The bot sighed and slumped to the ground until he was laying on his back. Reluctantly he checked his comms. Nothing. As expected. He hesitated as he checked his comms with Optimus, nothing. The last several interactions they’d had Bee had always initiated, and each one it seemed more and more like the Autobots leader was trying to get rid of him, maybe Optimus wanted Bumblebee dead.

This is a SUPER self indulgent fic I wrote while insomnia was kicking my ass. It’s probably OOC so my bad. Mostly (ish) based in Earthspark surrounding the idea that Optimus kinda sorta ghosted his son after sending him into hiding. Definitely some non Earthspark stuff in here though so sorry about that. Moral of the story: OP’s a bad dad.
