Buck, still running on frantic panic of being late, stops short. When he looks down at himself, he sees that he is indeed wearing one of Tommy’s LAFD Air Operations t-shirts.
“Uh,” Buck says, ever so eloquently.
“Why are you wearing Tommy’s shirt?” Chimney asks, and really, that’s a valid question.

“Okay, stay with me, what’s your name sir?” Chimney asks, tapping Eddie on the side of the face.
Buck can’t imagine his husband dead or else he’ll spiral and then Eddie really will be dead.
God, this is really happening.
Eddie mumbles something incoherent.
“C’mon, speak up buddy, stay with me here,” Chimney says, moving to splint his arm. Buck speaks without thinking.
“It’s Eddie.”

Or 5 times everyone thought Buck and Eddie were cluelessly in love, and 1 time they found out just how wrong they were.
“Wait wait wait…” Chimney held up his hands to stop the conversation. “You mean not only are you guys together, but you’re married?”
Buck shot Eddie a confused glance before looking back at his brother-in-law. “Uhh, yeah, Chim. Have been for about a year now?”
“A year?” It was now Hen’s turn to interject, her eyebrows shooting up. “What the hell do you mean you’ve been married for a year?”
“We mean we’ve been married for a year, Hen,” Eddie chuckled with a confused smile.
“I mean, come on, guys,” Maddie laughed. “It’s not like they kept it a secret or anything.”
Chimney’s head snapped back to look at his wife, his jaw hanging open. “You knew about this?”
Maddie slowly turned to look at him, one of her eyebrows arched. “You didn’t?”
