Summary
The atmosphere surrounding the campfire was quite unusual. Hours no, possibly an entire day had passed since anyone was initiated into a trial. Some survivors took the time to group up and head out deeper into the woods to gather more offerings in preparation 'Just in case'. Meanwhile, a few others took the time to appreciate the calming yet, anxiety inducing situation. One of these survivors would be a man by the name of Jeff Johansen.
((I always wondered how a friendship between Nea & Jeff would play out. I feel like this story started off good, but then it got a bit too goofy towards the end. I had fun writing it though.))

Yet, needed to use this relationship, Alustin requested that Xerxes pull some strings to get him and a few others into the restricted side of the royal family's library and archives to locate a couple of personal journals of a past Edana. How long would Xerxes keep his secret or the nature of his work from his found family since he doesn't want to worry or scare them off? Please R&R.
