My take on KinitoPET, with the main focus being the friendship growing between Kinito and the reader. (Though the reader character is somewhat of a self-insert, I tried to make them somewhat relatable to make this fic accessible to all!)

Summary
An AU that follows the events of the original game, starting at the moment OMORI is created. Instead of OMORI being an entity inside of Sunny's head, he is an actual seperate person that gains the ability to stay existent even when Sunny is awake, allowing him to watch over and protect the person that created him. Over the course of the story, him and Sunny gain the ability to interact with eachother, changing the story more and more as it goes on while still being comparable to how the game originally goes.
