Summary
At eighteen, Rey needs a job, a place to stay, and something resembling a plan.
Ben Solo needs someone he can trust with his twelve-year-old children.
It should be simple.
He tells her about his late wife. She tells him she can handle herself. Neither of them mentions the way his eyes linger on her, or the strange, immediate awareness that follows Rey through the house after she accepts the job.
Weeks become months. Rey slips effortlessly into the spaces in Ben’s life that have been empty for years—family dinners, late-night conversations, sleepy mornings in the kitchen. Somewhere along the way, wanting becomes something neither of them can pretend not to understand.
Then Ben kisses her.
And stops.
*This can’t happen.*
So Rey believes him.
Or at least she tries to.
But when she finally agrees to a date with someone else, Ben is forced to confront the one thing he has been determined not to admit:
Letting Rey go might be the right thing to do.
It just isn’t what he wants.

Summary
Rey is taken in by her father's best friend, who she's always had a crush on. She wishes and hopes he's *always* had a crush on her too.
This is a fucked up story, though told almost entirely through fantasy. No actual noncon occurs, but there is a LOT of talk of it, hence the tag. Basically, don't read if you don't have a rape kink, and aren't okay with extremely underaged age play. Rey discusses her fantasies of being raped as a (even younger) child, and Ben is Extremely Into It.
