Summary
After the turn of the century, something in the world shifted. Mortals felt it, demigods felt it, gods felt it, Perseus Jackson felt it. Something was changing. The nineteenth century was going to be an interesting one.
The fates carefully pulled a new length of string to add to their long-knitted piece. They each let a smile fall onto their faces.
Percy's life fell to pieces on a rainy day in May 1806. The strangeness didn't just stop at monsters and his best friend being half donkey. Percy was the son of a God (wasn't that Jesus?).
One terrifying trip to the countryside later and Percy is thrown into a world he had only read about in books with Father Brunner. Not only must he learn to navigate this new world at Half Blood Estate he must also find Zeus's missing lightning bolt.

The horrific, jagged jealousy from moments before transformed into something far more dangerous: a predatory claim.
He didn't care where the boy had come from. He didn't care which foreign sea god—some pathetic deity from the edges of the world—had been so catastrophically stupid as to lose such a treasure. To leave a child like this, a living godling of the salt, out in the open? To let him be swept away by a stray current of rage? It was a crime against the divine. It was proof that whoever had sired this boy did not deserve him.
He is mine, Poseidon thought, and the thought was a law. He looks like me. He speaks with my storms. He has my eyes. He is the child the Fates stole from me, returned by the very winds of my grief.
Or: Poseidon thinks he's stealing a child of some foreign sea god for his own and Percy just thinks he's been booted backwards in time and together they make for half a brain cell.

Summary
When Grover first caught a whiff of Mr. Jackson’s scent, he knew something was up.
Sure, the man looked normal enough from Grover’s brief glimpse of him through the windshield as Mrs. Jackson’s Toyota Prius trundled up the long driveway. He had sunburnt shoulders and was still wearing a pair of bright yellow bib-and-brace oilskins, like he’d just come back from his job on the fishing trawler.
But once the car got close and Grover caught Mr. Jackson’s scent, all of Grover’s fur stood on end.
Because beyond the sweat, salt, and dead fish he could pick up, there was a strangely synthetic human smell. It was sort of like how Fanta smelt like oranges. Which was to say - and a sharp stab of anxiety wormed its way into Grover’s heart at the thought - Mr. Jackson smelt like he was a fake human. Was Mr. Jackson a monster in disguise?

In a moment of weakness, Poseidon makes a decision. He chooses a decade of a mortal life so he can be with Sally and his son. But when a god, especially one as important and powerful as Poseidon, becomes mortal, there are consequences. (Or that fic where Asclepius is taken instead of the lightning bolt.)

Three year old Percy witnessing this lets out an immense divine storm burning up his mortality and ascending into a godling. Poseidon who arrived moments too late realizes his once demigod son whom he could previously not be around is now a godling and alone. He immediately whisks Percy away before anyone notices to raise him in Atlantis.

Jason and Annabeth are both from a small town in California. On the two different ends of an awful divorce. One, the husband, and the other, his wife's closest friend. They don't exactly get along anymore, but at one point, they were as close as family. Can an odd pair of friends somehow heal the deep rift Reyna left between them?
