Ralsei hates having a room; he never finds himself able to fill it in the way he wants, and hates feeling like he has to rely on others to choose for him. When there's too much, he can't even bring himself to think about making a decision. But sometimes a single joke is all it takes to make something turn from uncomfortable to welcome.

Dreaming is something unique to Lightners. Their thoughts can merge and shift as they sleep, and subconsciously give shape to the forms and personalities of Darkners. It's a beautiful thing. But Ralsei, as a sleepless Darkner, finds he can do little more than admire the capability.
