Grace shakes his head, bringing himself back into the moment. “Sorry, Rock. What’d you say?”
“What Grace want for birthday,” Rocky repeats himself, tone more insistent this time.
“Y’know,” Grace says, deciding an unrealistic idea is better than no idea at all, “I think I want a hug from my best friend. If you can figure that one out, you’ll never have to get me another birthday gift again.”
“Rocky will continue to get Grace gifts anyway.” Grace flushes at the declaration, which he does not want to address. Rocky is quiet for a moment after, tapping his claws on the ground in thought. And before Grace can tell him he was just joking, don’t worry about it, just make him some xenonite barbells so he doesn’t lose these muscles so fast, Rocky is perking up and skittering to leave the room again. “Rocky know how to get Grace gift! Will take some time. Late gift. Will make up for it next Earth year.”
(Or, the one where Rocky's birthday present to Grace ends up getting a little out of hand.)

Ling can’t work. He hasn’t been able to work for a month all because of his neighbor’s… activities. It seems like from the day that Greed moved in, he’s made a point to disrupt Ling’s educational life as much as possible. He’s living off-campus in a crappy apartment with crappy wifi and crappy heating and it’s all he can do to work up the motivation to actually do his homework. Greed coming home with a different partner every other night is not helping. Not at all.

Yuuri can’t believe Viktor is doing this to him. Just because Yuuri’s never been on a date before doesn’t mean he needs Viktor to set him up with someone. He can do that just fine on his own, thank you very much. But Viktor seems to think otherwise, and he’d walked away towards the two women without even giving Yuuri a heads up and, well, Yuuri’s not about to throw himself into the fray. He can’t get a date for himself, who is he kidding? He can’t even ask a girl out on a date with Viktor right next to him. All he can do is hide behind the corner of this building and watch discreetly from a distance and hope that Viktor doesn’t point him out.
(Truth be told, Yuuri doesn’t want to date either of the girls. They don’t make his heart race just by looking at them like Viktor does. But he’ll never admit that.)
