Don’t, ah… read too much into it.” As if that would keep Ratio from immediately formulating whatever theories he pleased.
Am I truly so precious to you? He could read the question in Ratio’s face. His bafflement. It was warranted, whatever questions Ratio might have of him. But he didn’t really want to talk right now.
Moaning, on the other hand… now that was on the table.
