Jude and Erling have always been good at explaining themselves away.
The scenting, the touching, the sleeping in each other’s beds, the way Jude knows Erling’s body almost as well as his own — none of it has ever needed to mean anything. They’re best friends. They live together. And whenever things cross a line, there has always been an easy explanation for that too: heats, ruts, biology.
