But there’s hardly any opportunity to do that when he’s spent the better part of the week shoved in different perches and hidey-holes, making shots only he can make.

    “Barton. I need a sit-rep.” It’s not Coulson in his ear and his stomach roils every time he remembers that. Clint doesn’t deign to answer. Jackson’s plan had gone straight to shit, like Clint said it would, and now he’s dealing with the fallout. Two days after he was supposed to be safe on a plane home.
