With her life in shambles, Bernie Wolfe escapes to the most remote NHS posting available in Campbeltown, Scotland. She doesn’t expect to end up in a town steeped in the history of scotch whisky (she has never been a fan of that strong brown liquor) and nothing could have prepared her to meet Serena Campbell, owner of the Ardshiel Hotel and its extensive scotch collection.
