This was supposed to be easy. Show up, fake interest in some dead guy named Durkheim, scroll through memes, maybe text Maki about how my soul is slowly dying.
Instead, the door slammed open and in walked every red flag I’ve ever ignored — tattooed, smug, and radiating danger like it’s his cologne.
