Slowly, he turns to face Inumaki. He waves awkwardly. “Um. Hi?”
Inumaki is one of the second years, who speaks only in onigiri fillings due to his cursed technique. Or…at least, that’s what Fushiguro said. Something about his words being imbued with cursed energy, so he has to limit his vocabulary?
Regardless of the reasoning or the mechanics of Inumaki’s cursed technique, it creates a sort of language barrier between him and everyone else. And while the other second years, and even Fushiguro and Kugisaki, have all had time to adapt and learn the language, Junpei has not.
when junpei first moves into the jujutsu high dorms, inumaki helps him make dinner. after inumaki loses his arm in shibuya, junpei returns the favor.
