В магическом мире Северус Снейп официально мёртв. На самом деле он жив — прикован к койке в секретной больнице Отдела Тайн, где лечат тех, кто должен был умереть, но почему-то не умер.
Вот только есть одна загвоздка: яд в крови подпитывается негативными эмоциями. А значит, Снейпу категорически нельзя злиться, раздражаться или испытывать что-то подобное.
Проблема: в палате с ним лежит Сириус Блэк.

When dragons from the north descended upon Griffin Rest, the Potter dynasty fell. Severus Snape felt nothing but relief. A refugee sorcerer hiding in Mount Omen, he'd long believed that the world would be better off without the chain of such master as the Potter. For once, fate seemed to be working in the sorcerers' favor.
But fate has a cruel sense of irony.
Prince James Potter arrives at his doorsteps. bleeding, broken, and alone. The last heir of a fallen kingdom has nowhere left to turn except to a sorcerer who wants nothing to do with him. Severus never asked for a prince. He never asked to be dragged back into the world of politics, of blood, and of the power struggles he'd fought so hard to escape.

If you read my earlier work about this world, don't worry... I deleted it. It wasn't working. Since then, I've been reading the ASOIAF books (started them after writing my HotD fic), and they completely changed how I approached this story. I've reworked everything: the worldbuilding, the relationships, the politic. I literally tried to write a whole fucking book of history that reference real life historical events. So yeah.. enjoy
