When dragons from the north descended upon Griffin Rest, the Potter dynasty fell. Severus Snape felt nothing but relief. A refugee sorcerer hiding in Mount Omen, he'd long believed that the world would be better off without the chain of such master as the Potter. For once, fate seemed to be working in the sorcerers' favor.
But fate has a cruel sense of irony.
Prince James Potter arrives at his doorsteps. bleeding, broken, and alone. The last heir of a fallen kingdom has nowhere left to turn except to a sorcerer who wants nothing to do with him. Severus never asked for a prince. He never asked to be dragged back into the world of politics, of blood, and of the power struggles he'd fought so hard to escape.

If you read my earlier work about this world, don't worry... I deleted it. It wasn't working. Since then, I've been reading the ASOIAF books (started them after writing my HotD fic), and they completely changed how I approached this story. I've reworked everything: the worldbuilding, the relationships, the politic. I literally tried to write a whole fucking book of history that reference real life historical events. So yeah.. enjoy -

Summary
Sirius Black had a habit of breaking rules. A simple hint of an attempt to control him provoked him to action. But even the most avid of troublemakers was guided by principles. Under no circumstances did Sirius allow himself to stop taking suppressants, to shag an Omega or to get close enough to one to become affected. These were the three pillars of his common sense, the only rules he could not break.
Severus Snape, on the other hand, had lots of rules. He adored them, catalogued each one in his confused mind, trying desperately to distract himself from the rest of his life, so fragile and uncontrollable. He wasn’t allowed to look back, to doubt his choices, to look for alternative solutions. And, most of all, he was to avoid remembering, digging in his past, and dreaming about the future. He knew exactly what he wasn’t supposed to do and it was all that kept his world from crumbling.
Sadly for the both of them, life rarely goes according to plan. Sometimes, a fair scent drives people to crazy deeds. Sometimes, you try to drown a man and fail miserably. Sometimes, it leads to the shared detention and reconsidering of all the bloody rules.

Sirius stopped, looking down at the scrubby little kid sitting on a muggle trash bag on the side of the road. "You okay, kid?" He asked, hoping that this wouldn't take too long. He had a schedule to keep, a Moony to find, and a Headmaster to avoid. Not to mention, he still had to buy everything one needed to house an eight-year-old wizard.
"Fine," the kid sniffled unconvincingly. "I'm just waiting."
"Waiting for what?" There was nothing around, just an old field and some scraggly stone walls that were older than the neighboring village.
"My...godfather," the boy said hesitantly, glancing up. "Sir, um...do you know someone named...Sirius Black?"
After spending seven years in Azkaban, the truth about Peter's betrayal comes to light, and Sirius is released. He's pissed, slightly off his rocker, and determined to bring the remnants of his family back together again. If only it were that easy.

That death has not found him yet is no more than the grace of a promise to see this thing through to the end. No one is left to mourn him, after all. Sirius Black es un alfa que tras rebelarse de su familia lo perdió todo: su fortuna, su estatus y la oportunidad de encontrar un trabajo mientras estudiaba en la academia de aurores. Para sobrevivir, desesperado por ocultar su pobreza de sus amigos , toma un trabajo en cómo modelo erótico para una revista mágica la cual al menos encubre un poco la identidad de sus modelos.
Por otro lado Severus Snape, quien en el colegio fingió ser beta, es un omega mestizo y pobre al que le han cerrado todas las puertas, y tuvo como única salida convertirse en «Nocturno», el modelo nudista más cotizado de la revista por su actitud desafiante y no sumisa de la mayoría de los modelos.
El azar -y la desesperación- los obliga no solo reconocer sus identidades y trabajar juntos, sino a convertir, al menos en la cámara, la rivalidad en tensión sexual. Pero el verdadero peligro no son las sesiones de fotos, sino que ese empleo les abre los ojos al horrible secreto de purga purista que se está llevando a cabo en las narices de todo Londres Mágico y que Sirius, como aprendiz de auror quiere desenmascarar arrastrando a Severus como su cómplice.
(La autora ofrece una historia sencilla, llena de cliché y tragicomedia básica)
