Summary
In spite of the fact that Zagreus was remade whenever he entered the Styx, some things would be allowed to stay. If he had a stud, piercings would stay open. Tattoos were never permanent, but it would take a solid ten deaths before they would fade completely.
If he got sick, he would remain sick until his system either beat it or died to it, in which case he would emerge from the Styx with a clean bill of health.
He only vaguely remembered waving to Hypnos and Achilles before his memory skipped and he was curled in his bed, eyes shut tight and body curled in on itself. He hated fevers. It made no sense that he could get them, with how hot he ran.

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.

Summary
Zagreus was lazy and pushy and unpunished, and it always itched at her. As a Fury her compulsion was to reduce him to quivering obedience, but he was the Prince, to whom she could not seriously raise her whip without betraying the House. So, when she gets the official order to strike Zagreus back down into the very pit of the Underworld, she relishes it a little too much.

Eurydice is still adjusting to this new Orpheus, with his matted hair, and soulful expression. Good thing she has an eternity to figure it out.
It’s strange, to be at the lead with Orpheus, but Eurydice’s never been one to be thrown off by change, and she strides forward. It’s nice, somewhat. She’d always been the harmony to Orpheus’s melodies in life. To find something new in death—she hadn’t thought it’d be possible.

Summary
He wants his mother, for one thing. Like a lost child with aching feet, he wants his mother.
He wants to drink of the Lethe, be lost forever in a numb haze of white. He wants to cloak himself in darkness until even Nyx herself can’t find him, fall backwards into Chaos itself, sink heavy and useless into his grandparent’s domain and scatter into a million different parts. He wants to go to Elysium and bring the King and the Bull low there just to hear the crowd’s cheers for him, a million blurred faces who don’t know who he is or what he’s done and never will-- and love him despite.
It’s not real love, of course; they just like the show.
And if Zagreus really is the god of blood, the Fates must be laughing.

Summary
In some ways, the family reunion in the Underworld goes better and worse than Zagreus could ever expect. Insults are had, bonds are forged, and Zag may have just promised to bribe his Uncle. It's all worth it, though.
