Lucifer opening his own practice, however, is a curiosity he cannot quite overlook.
He signs up expecting entertainment, perhaps a chance to prod at the king. Instead, he finds himself trapped, regressed, and faced with something far less amusing than he anticipated.

After discovering that Alastor was taking supressants, Lucifer was determined to help the little come out of his shell. Coupled with Rosie they come up with a routine to try and help Alastor. Making a playroom for him, creating a schedule and even trying to set up a playdate between him and one of his old friends.

Summary
Lucifer’s depression rears its head often when he gets too stressed out. He can dream of happier times and pretend he's okay, but sometimes, having something fluffy and soft is a good way to get out of a funk.
Luciter might think he's a burden, but he isn't.
Alastor thinks that sometimes he asks too much or might take advantage of Lucifer, but he doesn't.
Sometimes it's best to have a bit of reprieve after such a heavy few days.
