Summary
So I saw a plea go out for Chilchuck x reader fics on Tumblr, so I answered the call. Thought it would be interesting to show how two middle aged divorced people of the same marginalized group can find and hang on to each other in their own little fucked up way. This picks up in the sauna episode, I changed it to where that floor has always been that cold. After that there's going to be quite a bit of canon divergence. Just playing around with the characters and putting them in situations and etc.

Flash looked up, to his absolute disbelief, the man was now sitting up.
"dude I don't think you should be-"
He cut off with a strangled gasp. The roadrash on the mans shoulder facing him was just...disappearing, knitting back together before his eyes.
"Dude, your shoulder..."
The man looked at him with a weary expression on his face.
"yeah it fuckin does that- NO you can't eat him! He tried to help us! You can eat that asshole of a truck driver though if we ever see him again-"
Flash spluttered "eat...? Dude what the fuck... what the fuck man"
The guy glanced briefly his way "sorry not you- NO, absolutely NOT, I KNOW that healing takes a lot of work but you will NOT eat his brains, we'll stop by a chicken farm on our way home." -

Summary
And Geralt had looked him in the eye and decided that the bard, his bard, was only trying to trick him. Jaskier had lied to him yes, but only because he had thought Geralt would kill him if he knew the truth about his parentage. The thought hurt more than any blow, but with the information he knew now, he knew he was right. His first impulse was to go find Jaskier, but did he even deserve that? With a pang, Geralt realized that even though he now missed Jaskier more than he’d thought possible, the bard was at least, finally, safe.

Summary
Jaskier turns and runs, feet digging desperately for traction in the slippery sand. Geralt barely notices the wounds in his leg and side as he gives chase, silver sword shining in his hand. Jaskier is surprisingly fast, no doubt used to fleeing at the drop of a hat when things get rough with an angry paramour or monster. He would probably have lost a normal man in the shifting dunes, or managed to escape to the nearby forest to hide. Geralt is no normal man.

Yennefer raised her sword and an eyebrow. “And you are?”
Old eyes looked at her out of a young face. “I'm the person who’s going to have to catch you when you pass out from blood loss.”Yennefer is left stranded without her magic after she torches the Nilfgaardian forces in the last Witcher episode. Fortunately she knows how to use a sword because I think that's cool, and it would make sense in the context of her being super old and fiercely independent.

A piercing shriek split the air, and Geralt jumped up from his spot by the fire, unsheathing his sword in one fluid motion. He should have known better than to let that moron of a bard go for water by himself, but he’d thought even Jaskier couldn’t get into too much trouble in these woods. Cursing under his breath, he shot off in the direction of the scream.
