    Shen Qingqiu was a lecher.

His frequent visits to the Warm Red Pavilion were damning proof. He groomed his female disciples and mistreated the others.

So why was Ning Yingying the only one brave enough to speak the truth?

The other Qing Jing Peak disciples turned on her with venom in their eyes, spitting cruel words. They refused to acknowledge her as a martial sister, even when she returned, dragging behind her a shattered Shen Qingqiu.

(She refused to stay with Luo Binghe. After knew what had he done to her shizun.)

She knelt outside Qing Jing Peak every day.

    But what was the point?

To them, she had once been a willing accomplice in the torment of the man they saw as a father figure.

He had refused Shen Qingqiu’s quiet pleas for a female healer. Though he was hailed as the best healer of his generation, he never saw the truth—never saw his shixiong’s suffering.

Now it was too late. Shen Qingqiu was utterly broken.

(A few pages of the original journal are torn, worn with age, or burned. Many lines are even carefully crossed out with ink, no doubt an attempt to obscure the notes.

Fascinatingly enough, quite a few of the queen’s predictions came true.

Queen Alicent bore a son next, just as she expected. His egg did not hatch, just as she suspected. Queen Laena did indeed claim Vhagar, in a feat that granted her the title 'Siren Song.' And, as everyone knows, she eventually married Crown Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, not the man that was her fiance, which was entirely outside of her projections. Their children called her mother, not aunt.

These years of the journal paint a loving visage between the two future queens. So sweet they were that it makes little sense how tumultuous their relationship became when affection should have reached its very peak.

    The engagement. The wedding.

But that is for later discussion. Before there was a wedding, there was a dance. Another prediction manifested. Except despite all her wisdom, Queen Laena did not predict the tragedy that was—)

I shifted my stance, taking a half step forward, but froze when the figure moved. It was a man. He pushed his hands off the ground to rise to his full height. He wore a uniform. Thick white cloth with bluish gray accents now soaked through with water. My eyes traced up his form until they locked with sharp, light blue eyes. Wet, silver hair plastered to his forehead.

I sucked in a sharp breath and watched as his gaze softened.

Even over the thundering rain, I heard his voice.

    “Jisoo?”

The world began to spin with my only anchor point being Xavier from Love and Deepspace who was actively closing the space between us. His mouth moved but his voice and the rain were replaced with an unexplained ringing. The umbrella fell from my loose grip, groceries splattered into the puddle beneath me, and everything went black.

    Summary

In the ash and rubble of the various fights around the undercity, there is one constant; a flash of blue hair popping up when you least expect it. The princess of Zaun, Silco’s most trusted, fighting without a cause. Without a purpose.

The days float her by, not even the fights she picks with low level thugs are enough to calm the erratic voices in her mind anymore. It’s all just… too damn boring. Never enough to hold her attention for long. Thankfully there’s a nice change of pace, Jinx’s childhood friend keeps finding new ways to get under her skin.

A huff escapes her mouth as Jinx blows her bangs aside and straightens her stance. At least bickering with the Firelight leader is anything but uninteresting.

    Or,
What if Ekko and Jinx rekindled before Vi got out of prison

(In the grand scheme of everything that has happened over the years, Jinx can’t say she knows the firelight leader anymore. The few glances she manages to sneak during stupid diplomatic meetings they’ve had over the years don’t count as catching up. Jinx knows him the same way he knows her, which is to say that any new info will always be based upon the preconceived notions of each other from their childhood.

Jinx turns her head down with a grunt, the memory of pretending not to see his stare linger after her when the stupid meetings finish steals her attention. Ekko doesn’t show up to them on his terms, the only reason being a shaky treaty based upon sharing information pertaining to Piltover, and it’s not like she shows up there on her terms.

Silco wants her there. He’s involved her more and more throughout the years, much to her dismay. The ‘big room full of people who’d rather see you dead‘ thing isn’t entire her forte.

“Someday you’ll have to learn the trade”, he’d told her in one of his monologues, back when she was younger. She still remembers how he looked at her. “This will all belong to you.”

He’d spoken the words to her in a hushed tone, like it was a secret meant for just them;like he was giving her a gift of utmost importance, giving her no chance to tell him of the soul crushing pressure he’s putting on her by giving her that burden.)

    Summary

“What about you?” Sirius demanded, looking up at him, voice still slightly slurry but barely so, as if he was powering through it with sheer willpower alone.

There was a strong pang somewhere near James’ heart. “I’ll be alright when you get better.”

“Pretty sure that despite your best efforts, you two are not actually one being,” the girl remarked drily.

    Sirius scowled.

James and Sirius compete as a team in the Triwizard Tournament, there is something strange going on at the castle, Skeeter enjoys writing about them a little bit too much, and the Dark Lord is on the rise. And that is only the start of it.

[The fire crackled, bright blue flames erupting towards the ceiling before settling down again.

The students surrounding the goblet clapped and whooped, but Sirius, who had just thrown his name into the fire barely seconds after James, paid them no mind.

Instead he raised his fist, lips pulled into a confident smirk as he met James’ eyes. Trying to ignore the strange hotness he suddenly felt on the back of his neck, James gave a quiet chuckle, then moved to knock his knuckles against Sirius’.

Together, they moved away from the dense circle surrounding the goblet, leaving the cheers and curious looks behind them. James was sure the interest in the potential champions would wane with time, but the goblet had only been in place for a few hours and everyone’s eyes were on it.]
