Summary
For a visit, one must envision their soul and bring it to the mortal plane. Needed is paint, candles to concentrate the energy, salt, a talisman with their name must be ripped to begin the ritual.
But to have them stay, one must envision their soul as theirs. One must give up their humanity.
It had been four months since Celine killed Rumi in that graveyard, and when Celine starts to bring up the idea of a replacement, Zoey and Mira give their souls to bring Rumi back with them, to say the things they never got the time to say. And even though she's changed, she's still their Rumi.

Summary
The client hadn’t really requested anything at all; their emails had been almost overly polite, if not jarringly formal, and had selected only the most vanilla options on the questionnaire she provided. Certainly a far cry from the standard practices of her usual clientele, but this one had paid upfront and picked this expensive hotel, and Mira’s fees are dear enough on their own that she had been coloured intrigued.
Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.
The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.
In which Mira is a professional, Rumi is socially inept, and Zoey is also there. Let's hope nobody catches feelings.

Summary
It’s easy to tear a piece of paper, right? Yet it’s almost impossible to tear a stack of papers at once. You just need to focus on the first paper on top. Go one at a time, slowly. You’ll get through to her. You’ll see.
------
“So what do you think it is?”
The silhouette of the large manta ray cast a small patch of shade down between the two, where curled up on the dusty ground was an Octarian soldier. Though to call it a ‘soldier’ was perhaps taking it a little too far considering the shape the poor figure seemed to be in. Gear busted beyond use, forming bruises and cuts littering any sickly pale skin that showed. Simply put, whoever this was it was safe to say they hadn’t won whatever fight had broken out.
UPDATE:
This story isn't dead yet and neither am I!!

Shiver hadn’t been wrong about that, after all. Maybe luck would have it right, and the fact that Rock won first was a good omen for the future to come.

Summary
Eda loved music. Missed it to bits.
The glass was finished and slammed to the counter hard enough that the spiderweb crack crawled upward. The next wave of poison hit promptly enough but it did nothing to dull the ache in her ears. She wanted music again. When would music be back? Sure she could play the old phonograph or mess around on a cittern, but that was just noise like the clashing of cymbals.
She wanted real music.
To her, it was more than a sound. It was the scent of forest and sandalwood. It was the touch of calloused hands with painfully gentle fingers. It was the sight of surroundings cast in an ethereal red glow. The taste of music varied each time. When with music, the lips shared the same taste as the ‘blood. Sometimes music tasted salty, like when gently nibbling its ear.
Or earring…
