Summary
A Witcher's enhanced sense of smell tells them more about the world (and the people in it) than humans could ever dream of. Thus far, it has mostly served Lambert in looking out for his brothers, and avoiding lying assholes (or pointing those lying assholes out for a beating, depending on Geralt's current orders).
When a stranger named Jaskier saves Lambert from a horrifically painful end, Lambert has no idea what to make of him, even with the help of his nose. He finds himself worrisomely obsessed with learning more about the bard. The more Lambert learns, the harder he falls, until he knows he'll do anything to stay at Jaskier's side.
Even if it means doing something Witchers never do - getting married.

Summary
After writing my fic in which Geralt tries to seduce Jaskier, To Bag A Bard, I decided I wanted to write one from the opposite perspective. This time, Jaskier's determined to win our fair Witcher. This is not the same fic told from a different POV--different story entirely.

Jaskier blinks.
He’s always wanted to go with Geralt. But when all of his subtle hints and then, as the years passed, not-so-subtle hints were missed and/or ignored, he’d given up hope of ever being invited. Kaer Morhen just wasn’t something that Geralt was willing to share with him, and Jaskier’d had to live with that. But Eskel is willing. He wants Jaskier to come with him. Share it with him.
or, Eskel saves Jaskier when he's injured. They travel together, and Eskel brings him to Kaer Morhen without realizing Jaskier and Geralt used to be friends.

“C-calm myself?” Jaskier went from terrified and confused to absolutely furious in the blink of an eye.
His entire posture changed, his shoulders squaring, his hands balling into fists, his jaw clenching, his lip curling in a snarl. Something in his eyes flashed. Something that wasn’t quite human.
“Are you fucking kidding me Geralt?” he spat, “I’m a monster. You let me feed off you rather than letting me die and now I’m a fucking monster. Just breathe Jaskier. You’ll be okay Jaskier. I just-I can’t-“ his hands flew to his hair and he pulled hard, a barked out laugh falling from him and he sank to his knees, the laugh cracking along with his expression and tears spilled down his cheeks, curling forward until his head bumped off the floor, hands still fisted in his dark locks.
“I don’t want to be a monster Geralt,” he sobbed, “I don’t want to be a monster.”- Language:
