Summary
Post RE9 Leon finds himself back on that fateful September night in 1998. Fuelled by guilt following his recent return to Raccoon city, and accompanied by a wife who doesn't even know him, Leon spirals down memory lane with only one goal in mind: To save as many people as he can.
Or Fix it time travel fic with Leon angsting heavily on his wife, who isn't really his wife. Need I say more? We all know the drill by now.

Bookmarker's Notes
One of the most compelling RE fics I’ve read.
This is not a simple “Leon knows the future, so he fixes everything” story. It is a character-driven look at what happens when Leon returns to Raccoon City carrying decades of grief, experience, love, and memories that nobody around him shares yet.
The different POVs are especially strong: Claire sees the pain beneath the impossible competence, Ada sees an anomaly she cannot easily categorize, and Sherry sees safety—and already knows Claire and Leon belong together before they do.
Great found-family moments, tense action, meaningful deviations from canon, and a Leon whose growing fear of losing Claire and Sherry is becoming both heartbreaking and genuinely compelling. Very excited to see where the story goes next.

Bookmarker's Notes
One of the most compelling portrayals of post-Vendetta Leon I've read.
What initially looks like a Leon/Claire story is really a story about recovery, guilt, and learning how to live again after years of self-destruction.
The therapy sessions with Dr. Munroe are excellent and feel surprisingly natural. Sherry's role in helping Leon rebuild his life is one of the strongest aspects of the story.
The author does a great job showing how healing happens through small moments rather than dramatic revelations.
Looking forward to seeing where this goes.
