Summary
Applejack is the new girl at Canterlot High. She runs a farm, packs her own lunch, and doesn't have time for anyone who treats people like background noise.
Rainbow Dash is the fastest athlete in school. She shows up late, talks too loud, and has never stayed in one place long enough to learn what she'd miss if she left.
Rainbow starts coming to the farm on Saturdays. Then on weekdays. Then without being invited. Applejack starts setting an extra plate at dinner. Then remembering her game schedule. Then waiting on the porch when she's late.
Neither of them calls it anything.
That becomes the problem.
A canon-grounded slow burn set before, during, and after the events of Equestria Girls.

Lan Wangji said nothing, only watching Wei Wuxian as he approached what looked like a piece of a face.
“What are you all so afraid of? You’ll have to get used to more gruesome scenes eventually if you don’t want to quit,” he said, stepping across the bloody ground toward it. He knelt down.
It’s the peace of a face. It’s skin ghostly pale with hollow cheeks and dry lips. Their features must have been handsome before they started to eat less. A pare of grey eyes was looking back at him from it and a few strains of black hair hung over its eyelids. Then realisation struck and he scrambled backward his heart beating so hard in his chest it might burst.
That’s his face!

Zizhen's clan is facing an issue. People seem to dissappear without a trace. Once Wangxian and the juniors gather to get to the bottom of it all is Wei Wuxian faced by the unresolved trauma of his past and a person that makes him question of Lan Wangji is truly someone he should love.
