"Why don't you ever tip me?" Alex blurts out, his mouth ten times faster than his brain.
"I beg your pardon?" Henry asks, his face unreadable and his jaw tilted upwards.
"I uh, I'm... uh, why don't you leave tips after you eat here? Did I do something to make you uncomfortable? Did I get your order wrong? Did I-"
"Alex," Henry interrupts, his expression the tiniest bit softer than before.
"Yeah?" Alex looks at him anxiously.
"I've left at least a hundred dollar tip for you every time I've eaten here." Henry says.
"A hundred doll- who the fuck has that... how?!" Alex's brain is broken.
"Are you telling me you haven't received any of them?" Henry asks.
Alex shakes his head, not trusting his voice.

Henry doesn’t mean to intrude, but curiosity gets the best of him. “I am sorry, but what on Earth is your brother going to do with five-inch hot pink heels?” he asks, barely believing that those words actually came out of his mouth. He tries to recall whether Alex has a girlfriend he might order those for but June has been pretty vocal about either liking or disliking Alex’s exes in the past, so he is sure he’d remember. Also, those shoes don’t look like your regular gift for your girlfriend. Not that he would know.
June looks at him, as if finally realising how clueless he actually is. “Oh my god, I can’t believe I forgot to tell you. Alex is a pole dancer now,” she says matter-of-factly and Henry chokes.
“What?”

After Alex gets suspended from the lacrosse team, he finds a new hobby. Henry is completely normal about it.
