Summary
Rose is a simple village girl that lives with her brother Will when all that changes when her village is attacked by bandits they are rescued by the prince of Camelot and his crew. After her brothers death she ends up in Camelot but there is a lot to come for the young one. Follows the series from the moment of truth (I don't own Merlin). This fic is AU from the moment of Truth onwards.

“Dean?” he asked, voice small.
“Hm?” Dean hummed, still not looking at him.
“Can you pull over?”
“We’re on the highway, man, no I can’t pull over. Why?” He finally turned his head, an annoyed expression on his face that melted away the second he saw Sam, pale and shaky, raising one hand to cover his mouth and swallowing thickly again.

Summary
Dean was pressed up against the wall, barely holding a vampire away from his neck, both hands on the vamps face as he struggled. Sam didn’t waste a second running in, machete raised high.
He tackled the vampire off of his brother, ignoring Dean’s shout when he saw him. He pinned the vampire down and pressed the knife to his neck.
“Not my brother,” he snarled, but before he could behead the thing, he felt hands on his shoulders. He whipped around to find himself face to face with another vampire, this one looking rightfully pissed. Dean was busy grappling with two other vamps, and Sam took the moment to be pissed at their father again - they were not ready for all this.

Or, Sam gets injured when a hunt goes wrong - thank god big brother Dean's there to save the day.
