Izuku Midoriya, after being thrust into the national spotlight as the column writer "Deku" for Yūei's school newspaper, continues to struggle with his place as a quirkless student in a quirk-based society. With his new, very public relationship with the son of the Number Two Hero, and following a few failed attempts against his life, Izuku definitely deserves to take a bit of time to focus on himself and his writing--and what better way to do that than to spend 10-days shadowing Professor David Shield, All Might's old sidekick, on I-Island? Being away from Japan and all the media attention will surely do him some good, helping the Professor prepare for the I-Island Expo, an event that highlights another year of hero-based technological developments.
With his pen in hand, this feels like a dream come true for Izuku... until the Expo is infiltrated by villains and the entire island is put on lockdown.
At the same time, Shōto must overcome the parts of himself and his past that he'd rather ignore, if he wants to feel worthy of being with Izuku. Background Momojirou, Kiribaku, Shindenki. "You saved my life," Todoroki says.
Izuku freezes. Then he looks up. Todoroki Shouto is staring at him, his eyes calm but wide, dust and soot all over his face. His perfect, handsome face. He's more beautiful in person than Izuku could have imagined.
"You just saved all of us," Todoroki says again. "What's your name?"
"M-Midoriya," Izuku chokes out. "Midoriya Izuku."
Todoroki nods. "Midoriya. Thank you."

Midoriya Izuku is a university sophomore, a fanboy, quirkless. On the list of things he is not: a hero.
That's why he's more surprised than anyone when he rescues Todoroki Shouto, his favorite pro hero, from a deadly villain attack. His actions fling him into the media spotlight, grabbing the attention of the entire country, including Todoroki himself. But Todoroki actually wants to get to know him past the headlines.
Izuku finds himself living a story straight out of a fairy tale, one where the mysterious, handsome prince is played by the real-life superhero he has always admired. But Izuku is convinced he's the ugly duckling, not the swan; could he ever be remarkable enough to get his happily ever after?

Todoroki face darkens. What is this? A restraining order? A charge against him for forcing himself onto the omega? Whatever it was out of the two he deserved it. He kicked him out and abandoned him after forcing himself onto him. If the situations were reversed Todoroki would have wanted justice.
"Well do you remember when we-um, when my heat came and we went into your room and well... do you remember using protection?"
Todoroki blinks, his face going still. Midoriya chuckles awkwardly as he scratches his cheek.
"Don't think too hard trying to remember because we didn't- and well... I was in heat, and you're an alpha, and what I'm trying to say that I can't seem to say is that... I'm pregnant.. with your pup... yeah."
There. He said it. He finally said it. Now Todoroki and him can talk and discuss what's going to happen next-
"I'll pay for the abortion."
Midoriya feels his walls crumbling, "what?"
