Summary
It’s not the first Kid heist Shinichi attended, not by far. It doesn’t even seem like a special one.
As always Kid shows up right on the second the countdown ends, easily steals the gem – of course he stages it in a beautifully dramatic way – and runs away from the utterly confused task force without a hitch.
Shinichi, on the other hand, is once again the only one who didn’t fall for the thief’s trickeries. He waits until the last of the task force members disappears around the nearest corner, then takes chase.
Little does he know that this particular night would change his life… forever. -
