They did not have much, but they were happy.
Then one day, everything changed.
Something fell into the Underground.
At first, everyone thought it was a human child.
But this was no human.
The thing called itself The Angel of Death from The Prophecy.
They killed half the Underground, and released a strange substance that infected people, making them act strange and violent.
The people turned toward their king, but he had vanished, and his castle was sealed up by vines.
With no king, The Angel conquered the Underground.

Summary
After an neutral-pacifist ending (Flowey killed the king, Frisk spared everyone and befriended Papyrus and Undyne), Frisk leaves the mountain and attempts to kill themself to stop the player from resetting again. Their body falls into the river and is discovered by humans. They suffered total memory loss, and could barely recall the name “Chara” which they mumbled in a state of delirium. The doctors misheard it as “Kaira” and they’ve been called that since. The player no longer possesses them, but they developed a mysterious illness. They will have coughing fits, and cough up a strange black goo. It will occasionally leak from their eyes, nose, or ears as well. Their chest also often hurts a lot, and they will sometimes act traumatized and shake, but they don’t know what it’s from. Doctors think they must have eaten something on the mountain that got them sick. Kaira and Bessie became good friends. Bessie hates seeing Kaira sick and in pain, and wants them to get better. Nothing worked, but they found a book about a rare plant that grows on the mountain that has incredible healing properties.
