    The year is 2413. It's been 78 years since the invention of the Dimensional Jump Matrix, and in that time humanity has set up 49 colonies in far-flung star systems. The United Nations controls the interstellar military, including select, highly-trained special forces whose mission is to explore the galaxy, expand the reach of humanity, exploit valuable resources and seek out any sign of intelligent life.
