Then, to his shock and horror, the image of Ladybug seemed to blur. As if transforming from within, Ladybug slowly morphed into a person he hadn’t imagined seeing: the akuma.”

In an effort to protect Ladybug from an impending attack, Chat Noir takes the hit for her sake. Unfortunately, this particular akuma brings old wounds to the surface—showing Chat what he truly desires, and how such desires can lead to despair.
