As soon as Steve’s eyes fell upon the stranger, all the air rushed form his lungs.
The man was clad in the most beautiful armor Steve had ever seen, smooth and shiny even after what had to have been a long journey, and colored the most incredible shade of crimson, almost glowing in the candlelight as the man moved forward.
Steve had the sudden longing to draw the stranger, to capture such beauty upon paper, and the desire was so abrupt and unexpected that he almost gasped.Removing her helm, Antonia smiled at the king. “Your majesty, I have made my way here from the Kingdom of Manhattan, a journey of many months. My name is Antonio, and I was lately a knight in service to King Howard of Manhattan. On this day, I am but a kingless knight looking for a new liege.”

Summary
When Toni was seven, her soulmarks manifested: a red star edged in silver under her right collar bone, and a white star edged in blue under her left collar bone. Mama told her never to show them to anyone, because the Starks have enemies, and those enemies could use the soulmarks against her. She didn't see how. They were only stupid stars that didn't do anything but feel cold.
By the time she's fifteen, she learns more about the marks, and the men they signify. Red Star wanders in and out of her life without seeming to remember her from one encounter to the next, and she's pretty sure White Star was lost decades ago. Soulmates, she decides, are useless flights of fantasy, because hers certainly aren't the supportive life partners all the stories say they're supposed to be.
But she's a grown-ass woman now, and it doesn't really matter if she wants them or not. It really doesn't matter if she's a loose cannon, and one is with SHIELD and the other with HYDRA.
They're hers and she's theirs.
And she really doesn't like it when people take her stuff.

“How long until earthfall J?” Toni asks, hands steady on the wheel and mind whirling.
“If the current rate of propulsion is kept, less than an hour,” JARVIS tells her promptly. “The vessel is large, fast, and does not seem to be attempting to maintain any level of true stealth. Radio contact will be possible in five to ten minutes, Miss.”
Toni, having been enjoying a leisurely drive down the scenic route back to the Compound, is just under an hour away even if she speeds significantly. That’s unacceptable.
“I’ll be there in six,” Toni tells him even as she pushes the seat back a bit from the dash. “Scramble the Legion, get Rhodey and Vision on alert, and send a ping to Panthro. Don’t tell them to assemble just … to be ready to if we have to.”
“Of course, Miss,” JARVIS answers promptly.
Even without her hands on the wheel the car doesn’t so much as sway off course.
JARVIS has, as always, anticipated her every need.

Summary
He knows what’s coming. He can feel it like a black hole in the bottom of his stomach, a creeping, crawling dread that freezes his breath in his lungs, steals his ability to move. There’s an ache in his arm, the one he lost decades ago, a phantom burning right where his words used to be.
Panic chokes his throat, and the metal of his fingers creaks as he clenches a fist so tight it sends jolts of distress surging through the neural connections into his brain. No. No, not now. Oh fuck, not her. Not here. Not like this.

Summary
In an effort to help him adjust to the 21st century (or failing that get him out of his apartment), Fury convinces Steve Rogers to take a small job body guarding a business woman as she attempts to make contact with a notorious fugitive.
There are two minor complications.
The fugitive is Doctor Bruce Banner and he is on the run from the US military, but that's nothing compared to the body he's guarding:
Antonia Stark, CEO of Stark Industries, and (unbeknownst to the public or Steve) Iron Man.
