Summary
“What would you do, then?” Keiji asks before he can stop the words from coming out.
There is a long pause, neither of them move, neither of them say anything until Atsumu finds his words after audibly swallowing. “If I was sure?” Atsumu asks to clarify the question. Keiji doesn’t even know what exactly he was asking, but he nods, now eager to hear his response. “If I knew… it was mutual?”
This time it’s Keiji’s turn to swallow. “Yeah.”
Atsumu’s eyes flicker to Keiji’s mouth for just a second before he is back to focusing on his eyes. “Anything,” he says, taking a step forward, “everything.”

Atsumu’s jaw ticks, his eyes now glassy, shining with abrupt tears he doesn’t shed.
“Mingle with people, look up to somebody else and see if it’s the same feeling. Date somebody. Explore your emotions. Compare them. And if you’re still as certain as you are now - I’ll say yes.”
