Summary
“Thought you’d never ask.” Mira’s eyes gleam with mirth and excitement as she presses a paper into Zoey’s palm, numbers scrawled on it when the alpha glances down. “Pick us up in the afternoon. Be punctual. We like flowers and alphas with manners. See you soon, Zoey.”
Mira says her name with a sweet lilt, sending Zoey in a daze when she leans in and kisses her cheek, lingering long enough to leave a warm lipstick mark.
Rumi giggles as she does the same, a mirror of a lipstick mark on Zoey’s other cheek as a hushed murmur of, “Bye, Zoey. Can’t wait to see you.”
Zoey stares at Mira and Rumi as they walk away, totally dumbfounded by what just happened. The softness of their lips has her mind reeling. She’s breathless and flabbergasted in a matter of seconds, yet she waves at Mira and Rumi as they leave, mouth still slack as those long gorgeous legs strut further away, the waterfall of pink and purple silky hair fluttering behind them elegantly.
