Summary
Set before SEP and their trip to Indiana and LA. Their time spent in the UN's Anti-Terrorism unit; from Jack joining the squad, to how he and Gabriel became friends and eventually something more. One or two of their more dramatic missions, as well as the rare times they could find to be alone. Their first date. Things like that. I try to make it as potentially canon-believable as possible.
It'll probably be more enjoyable if you read the first part of the series beforehand, but the context clues are likely good enough.

Summary
Gabriel and Jack are offered a place in SEP, and they accept. With a month off before the program begins, they decide to show each other their respective hometowns. Things get rough, but they learn a lot about each other in the process and become even closer than before. Jack's childhood didn't quite match his sunny disposition, and Gabriel reveals a few demons of his own from the past. Even so, the positive experiences far outweigh the negatives.

You are not spoiled goods, Will.”
“Is that your professional opinion?” A smile pulls at the corners of Will's mouth. “I find that kind of hard to believe, coming from someone as harmless as yourself. Would innocence truly know what corruption looks like?”
Will's inner darkness distracts him from seeing the darkness in the man sitting right across from him. Or: Will seduces Hannibal in his office and finds that may be in over his head.
